Gum Disease Treatment (Periodontal Therapy)

Scaling & Root Planing (Deep Cleaning)

For patients with active gum disease (gingivitis or periodontitis), we perform scaling and root planing. Scaling removes plaque and tartar from above and below the gumline. Root planing smooths the roots of your teeth to help the gums re-attach and prevent bacteria from collecting.

Comfort During Deep Cleanings

Your comfort is crucial to us. We apply local numbing gels or local anesthetics, and offer nitrous oxide or oral conscious sedation to ensure your deep cleaning is completely pain-free and relaxing.
